In this system, hydrogen and oxygen exit the electrolyser via their respective convergence channels along with the lye and flow into the gas separator. Here, gravity facilitates the separation of hydrogen (or oxygen) from the lye. The separated hydrogen (or oxygen) is released from the upper section of the separator and directed into the hydrogen (or oxygen) heat exchanger for cooling. Any liquid droplets are removed at the top of the separator through the hydrogen-washing separator. Finally, the hydrogen is regulated by a control valve before being sent downstream.
